What is Aniimo?

Aniimo is a free-to-play creature-catching open-world RPG by Pawprint Studio, launching September 16, 2026 on Steam, Epic, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, with iOS and Android following on September 23. You play a Pathfinder on the continent of Idyll, catch Aniimo with Aniipods and Twine with them to become the creature and use its skills. The official index lists 94 Aniimo across nine elements and five combat roles, each with six base stats, a trait and up to seven skills — all of it is tabled in the Aniidex, skill database and stat tier list. Launch questions live on the release date, platforms, price and codes pages; three closed tests and 30.3 million pre-registrations are covered under closed beta and rewards.

FAQ

Are there any Aniimo codes right now?

No. As of September 5, 2026 Pawprint Studio has not published a single redeem code, and the game is not out until September 16. Closed-beta access keys were emailed to selected testers and cannot be redeemed for anything. Our codes page lists the day the first real code appears.

When does Aniimo come out?

September 16, 2026 on PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, then September 23 on iOS and Android. The Steam page shows Sep 15 because a 10:00 UTC+8 launch falls on Sep 15 in US time zones.

Is Aniimo free to play?

Yes. Steam lists it as Free To Play with In-App Purchases. The only paid items before launch are the optional $9.99 Advanced and $19.99 Collector's pre-order packs on PlayStation and Xbox.

Aniimo Codes Wiki is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Aniimo players — not affiliated with Pawprint Studio.

How we verify: Creature numbers on this site come from the official Aniimo Index at wiki.aniimo.com, pulled entry by entry on the date shown under each table. Launch facts cite the official news center or a store listing, and when two official sources disagree both dates are printed.
Update cadence: The index, the Steam listing and the news center are re-read every Monday until launch and daily for the first two weeks after Sep 16, and every table carries the date of its last pull.
What we don't do: No invented redeem codes. Until Pawprint Studio publishes a code and a redemption flow, the codes page says so plainly instead of listing strings nobody can enter.
